The town centers
Shops and restaurants cluster around Dove Canyon Road and Camino del Norte: the Village Center, 4S Commons and a health center, with the county library branch at 4S Commons.
County, not city
4S Ranch is unincorporated San Diego County, so county services and county permits, which differs from Del Sur and Carmel Valley.
