The neighborhood I know block by block.
Historic districts, canyon views, a restaurant strip you could walk to for a year without repeating — and the closed transactions to prove I know exactly where the good streets are. This is the Mission Hills guide I wish existed when I started selling here.
Four historic districts. One very walkable zip code.
Mission Hills is one of San Diego's earliest planned subdivisions — platted in 1908 by George Marston on land once called Johnston Heights — and it carries four separate historic-district designations, including a National Register listing, reflecting an unusually intact collection of Craftsman, Prairie, and Spanish Colonial Revival homes. Built along the hills above Old Town, the harbor, and downtown, the canyon-and-mesa topography gives many streets sweeping bay and skyline views, while a genuine small-neighborhood commercial strip keeps it walkable in a way few San Diego zip codes can match.

Sub-area boundaries above are approximate, for orientation only — not survey lines.
